A Homeschool Class · Global Sovereign University · American History
The story of the American flag and the spirit behind it, told for kids: how the flag was born, what its stripes and stars mean, the flag in hard times, the Pledge and the Anthem, how to treat the flag with respect, and what it means to be a young patriot. Ten lessons, one for each chapter of the book. Free, no account, nothing to install.
Read the lesson your way: younger reader, older reader, or the book’s own words. Press Listen to hear any part read aloud. The whole chapter is on the page too.
Hands-on activities that answer back: sort, design a 1777 flag, tell family tradition from proven fact, and family activities to try at home.
Short questions at the end. Miss one and you get a hint and another try. Get them all and the lesson is complete.
Progress is kept on this device only. Nothing is sent anywhere and nobody is asked who you are. Grown-ups: younger children do best when you read along with them.
One for each chapter, in the book’s order. They open one at a time as each is finished.
When your child has finished the ten lessons, they can take a final check: questions from every lesson, graded on GSU’s server. A score of 80% or better prints a certificate with a serial number that anyone can verify. It is not a school grade or a credit, but you can list it on your child’s free Sovereign Transcript.
All ten lessons are open, and the final check is ready.
