A Class · Global Sovereign University
The complete guide to digital confidence, from absolute beginner to tech-fluent in the age of AI. Twenty lessons, one per chapter: how a computer and the internet really work, files, typing, documents, spreadsheets, email, safety, the cloud, phones, AI, work, learning, government services and troubleshooting. Written for adults. Free, no account, nothing to install.
The chapter explained plainly, with pictures you can work: change a setting, sort a file, spot the fake, and watch what happens.
Short tasks on your own computer or phone, at the level that fits you: Good, Better or Best. Tick each one off as you go.
A short check at the end. Miss one and you are told why, then pointed back to the part that explains it. A printable card keeps what you learned.
Your progress is kept on your own device. Nothing is transmitted and nobody is asked who you are. This class teaches the book’s skills and ideas, at your own pace.
One per chapter, in the book's order. All twenty are open.
Working the lessons is practice, and practice does not earn a certificate. The certificate comes from a separate exam of 60 questions, three from each lesson, graded on our server so no answer key ever reaches your browser. Score 80% or better for a free certificate with a serial number anyone can verify. It records that you read the book and passed our test on it; it is not a licence or a professional credential.
Computer Literacy Unlocked was written by our founder, Dr. Gene A Constant, and donated to the Foundation. Published by Global Sovereign University Press. The class is free. The book is how the Foundation pays for it.
